Review | Fallen by Lauren Kate

Title: Fallen
Author: Lauren Kate

Publisher: Random House

Pages: 452

Rating: 5/5

"There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move. Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go.

Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story."

My thoughts:

Fallen
is a book that'll have you gasping with each encounter with Daniel, flinch at the action, and overall swoon to the entire book.

Words can
not describe how much I loved this book. Unlike Kate's first book, this one was beyond amazing. The writing, from start to finish, kept its hold on me throughout the whole book. The characterization was amazingly done. You really got a sneak into each of the character's personalities even though it was all Luce's point of view. Each were well rounded. The action towards the end of the book had me gripping the pages. The concept, in my eyes, was even more awesome. The author's point of view of that is quite interesting and I love it.

This book will have you trying to figure out whose on what side, swooning over how romantic it can get, and having you flip pages constantly. Overall a really good book, I would recommend it to all of you! [:

*Fan girly review. I'm
so sorry about that, xD. It was just really good and surpassed how I originally thought it would be!
